Accountabilities
As an Associate, you'll be responsible for solution architecture for Business Intelligence use cases. You'll serve as a key liaison between Business End Users, IT, and the Power BI Development team, working with collaborators to identify their reporting/data requirements. You'll translate reporting business needs into technical reporting requirements with acceptance criteria for handover to the Power BI development team. Collaborate continuously with the Agile Scrum team to groom, refine issues, and plan sprints to implement new reporting efficiencies, achievements, or scoping efforts. You'll assist in presenting reporting requests to main collaborators and identify training needs. Your role will involve designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture, designing mobile reports based on wireframes/mockups, cross-collaborating across multiple functions and geographies to work towards the agreed on goal, effectively training junior resources in technical and functional aspects, designing and developing Power BI dashboards, continually researching current and emerging technologies, managing end-to-end deliverables from requirements gathering to production go live, conceptualizing and designing the best fit solution against the requirements with the help of an Architect, understanding the functional aspects of business, collaborating with collaborators and other internal teams through effective communication, solving complex problems with out-of-box solutions, documenting and emailing objectives clearly while following good email etiquettes, being analytic, creative, self-motivated, organized, managing time efficiently, and working effectively within a distributed team connecting from different parts of the globe.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a role associated with reporting, analytics, and/or data management.
- Proven experience working with detailed report visualizations and data management.
- Experience with gathering user requirements, developing system documentation, testing or analytical business reports.
- Must have good hands-on experience in Power BI.
- Should be well experienced with developing apps on PowerApps platform.
- Must have good hands-on experience in designing mobile reports.
- Strong knowledge in Databases, DM schemas and SQL.
- Experience in gathering and documenting requirements for Data Requirements.
- Full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Strong service focus.
- Engaging and friendly personality.
- Collaborative, flexible and a team player.
